經橡木桶貯蔵熟成梅酒與威士忌原酒完美的混和調配而成，橡木桶更經過30分鐘的烤桶處理，淡雅香氣於熟成期間漸漸融入梅酒之中，使得此梅酒特別具層次，既有梅酒的柔和香甜，亦有威士忌的穀物香氣餘韻。

除了穀物威士忌之外，山崎梅酒的Rich Amber版本更混合了麥芽威士忌，整體的威士忌比例更高，酒精濃度亦隨此上升至20%。山崎威士忌一滴千金，三得利(Suntory)的調酒工藝更是世界首屈一指，所以Rich Amber可以算是威士忌梅酒中的頂尖傑作。品嚐起來，此酒比起山崎中階版的Whisky Blend，酒體更厚實，威士忌味道更出，餘韻更複雜悠長，與成熟的梅味取得了極佳平衡！
