About the brewery
Emishiki Shuzo was founded in 1892 in Shiga Prefecture. True to its name, the brewery crafts sakes that "bring a smile no matter the season". Using ultra-soft water from Iwama Mountain with hardness just 10mg, every bottle is a traditional kimoto, unfiltered junmai made solely from specially contracted Shiga rice. This pure, natural dedication makes Emishiki the authentic expression of Shiga terroir.
