About the brand
Marumo Takagi Pottery was founded in 1887 in Tajimi, Gifu, at the heart of Mino ware country. From sake cups to tableware, it offers a full range for the table. Its signature colour-changing sake cups use special pigments and kiln firing: when the liquid drops below 17°C, cherry blossoms or fireworks bloom on the surface, turning temperature into a seasonal scene.
