About the brewery

Mii no Kotobuki was founded in 1922 in Fukuoka. It was the first brewery in the region to focus on junmai sake and to revive the traditional yamahai. Its refined and gentle sakes have earned two consecutive IWC Trophy awards and a 91-point from Robert Parker. Interestingly, the author of basketball comics "Slam Dunk" named the character Mitsui Hisashi after this beloved brand.
