About the brewery

Honke Matsuura Shuzo was founded in 1804 and is the oldest sake brewery in Tokushima. Its flagship Narutotai was created in 1886 by fifth-generation owner Kuhei Matsuura. Made entirely from local Tokushima rice and native yeast, it delivers rich, fragrant rice umami in a beautifully balanced style. Smooth, versatile and highly food-friendly, Narutotai is a true mealtime favourite among sake lovers.
