About the brewery

Fujii Shuzo was founded in 1863 in Takahara, Hiroshima. The brewery focuses on 100% junmai style with its motto: 'If it’s not junmai, it’s not Ryusei.' The resulting sakes shine when young and mature beautifully with age.In order to return to ancestral techniques, Ryusei sakes are all crafted with natural lactic acid bacteria and wild yeast. What's more is that all batches use the traditional kimoto method since 2023. The resulted sakes shine when young and mature beautifully with age. Definitely a must-try for lovers of authentic traditional sake.
