About the brand
Toyo-Sasaki Glass is based in Chiba Prefecture and works in both machine production and artisan-made pieces. In 1967 it released Japan’s first heat-strengthened drinking glass, HS, with a tougher rim that became a long-standing staple in hospitality. It also carries on the Edo glass tradition: the Lucky Mount Fuji cups show Fuji in the base, revealed the moment sake is poured. A glassware brand that strength and ceremony sit together.
