About the brewery

Kaba Shuzojo was founded in 1704 in Hida region. Its flagship brand Shiramayumi draws its poetic name from collection of Japanese waka Manyoshu, symbolising Hida. The brewery mainly uses local rice 'Hida Homare' to produce refined and elegant sake. Its sparkling collections are especially admired by sake lovers, making Shiramayumi the iconic representative of Hida Furukawa.
