About the brewery

The newly founded Taiun Sake Brewing is based in Shimane. Due to its limitation of brewing license, the brewery is not allowed to retail in Japan, but has quickly become one of the most exciting new brands overseas. Its Taiwanese owner, Wei-Jen Chen, is a passionate sake lover who spent over a decade training at top Japanese breweries including Dassai. Since launching Taiun and Taichung 65 series, it has won multiple major awards and established itself as a rising star in the sake world.
