About the brewery

Sumikawa Shuzojo, founded in 1921 in Yamaguchi Prefecture's Hagi, captivates with its brand Toyobijin. Current owner and toji Yoshifumi Sumikawa trained at Takagi Shuzo of Juyondai, and hence he crafts elegant sakes showcasing roundness, sweetness, and umami. Toyobijin delights with fragrant ginjo aromas, silky texture, and perfect sweet-acid balance, delivering a supremely soothing impression. Ranked second on SAKETIME in Yamaguchi, it leads the new generation of richly aromatic sakes.
