About the brewery

Located in Fukui Prefecture, Katou Kichibee Shouten was founded in 1860. Their brand name "Born" signifies birth and creation. Every sake is aged at ice temperature for at least one year, yielding rich and silky textures. Often selected for Japanese government hospitality, Born has become a globally acclaimed brand.
