About the brewery
Mori Shuzojo, brewery of Hiran, was founded in 1895 in Hirado. Hirado is a port steeped in exotic flair as Japan's only gateway to Western trade during the Edo period. Thus Hiran is determined to reflect Hirado's terroir, crafting 90% of its sakes via kimoto methods to achieve ultimate freshness and clarity. Hiran delights with juicy fruit aromas balanced by crisp, sweet-tart acidity, evoking a luxurious tasting experience. Awarded gold at France's Kura Master and IWC, this rising star captivates sake fans worldwide.
