Brewery Introduction
Komasa Jozo was established in 1883 in Kagoshima's Hioki, nestled at the base of the majestic Kirishima Mountains. Blessed with fertile volcanic soil and crystal-clear water, it excels in crafting premium imo-shochu from the finest sweet potatoes. After the 2010s, the brewery has expanded into diverse spirits and launched Komasa Gin with local Kagoshima ingredients. And most recently, it founded Kanosuke Distillery to produce high-quality single malt whisky.
