About the brewery

Yamaguchi Shuzojo was founded in Kurume in Fukuoka. Its brand Niwa no Uguisu titled gold at the Annual Japan Sake Awards for five straight years from 2015 to 2019, plus consistent wins at Fukuoka's prefectural competition. The brewery crafts elegant, versatile sakes suited for all palates and pairings. Convinced that seasonal sakes match seasonal dishes, Niwa no Uguisu releases two seasonal products quarterly.
