「小林酒造」創業於1872年，釀造水源為日光市著名的名水「酒の泉」，由於該水源礦物質含量較低，因此特別適合釀造口感細膩純淨的清酒。而旗下最廣為人知的銘柄「鳳凰美田」所出品的清酒酒款都有豐盈口感、濃郁的吟釀香氣和飽滿的米旨味。雖然曾面臨倒閉，但經過一番努力後，近年終於成為受世界所關注、栃木縣引以為傲的酒造之一。
