Brewery Introduction

Matsuzaki Syuzo is founded in 1892 in Fukushima with the brand Hirotogawa. Current owner and toji Mr. Matsuzaki Yukou took charge at the age of 28, and focuses on high-quality sake fully bringing out rice character. By using local rice variety Yume no Ka and medium-hard water, Hirotogawa secured seven consecutive golds at the Annual Japan Sake Awards since 2011. Its superb balance and elegant taste delight fans, making it a top local sake in Japan.
