Brewery Introduction
Kikuhime is one of Ishikawa’s most beloved breweries. Its former owner Tatsuji Yanagi has always demanded uncompromising quality. Since the 1980s he has run the “Sake Master” training programme for local university graduates. Every sake is made exclusively from self-polished Hyogo special A-grade Yamada Nishiki rice and aged for at least one to two years. Its signature rich, savoury depth has established Kikuhime as the hallmark of classic sake.
