Imanishi Shuzo was founded as early as 1660 in Nara Miwa, which is said to be the birthplace of sake. Its brand Mimurosugi upholds the region's ancient brewing legacy by exclusively using Nara-origin bodaimoto methods. Mimurosugi employs Yoshino cedar barrels and only Nara-grown rice for all production. Yet Mimurosugi sets itself apart from conventional sakes. It shines with crystalline freshness, juiciness, elegant ginjo aromas and translucent lactic notes, all balanced by superb sweet-sour harmony.
