Brewery Introduction
Morishima Shuzo was founded in 1869 in Hitachi, Ibaraki with just 70 steps to Pacific Ocean. Its iconic label design features a piece of Oya stone that fell into the brewery during the 2011 East Japan tsunami. Though severely damaged, the event inspired the sixth-generation brewer to pursue his own distinctive style. A multiple award-winner at the Annual Japan Sake Awards, Kura Master and IWC, its sakes are praised as perfect mealtime companions that elevate every dish, stimulate appetite and never tire the palate.
