Ryujin Shuzo was founded in 1804 in Gunma Prefecture. True to its name, it brews exclusively with pure snowmelt water from the Oze region. The exceptionally soft water slows yeast fermentation, extending the entire brewing process by one-third to other breweries. This patient approach yields sakes with rich, fragrant aromas and a remarkably light, elegant finish. Its refined style and beautiful labels have made it especially popular among women.
