Brewery Introduction

Takijiman Brewery was founded in 1868 in Mie Prefecture's Iga Basin, the year Emperor Meiji ascended the throne. Its motto "Better one drinks 100 cups than 100 people drink one" drives the creation of drinkable sakes. The brewery uses soft water from Akame 48 Waterfalls, one of Japan's 100 famous springs, yielding gentle texture with bright acidity. Takijiman's Junmai Daiginjo was the toast at the 2016 G7 Summit in Ise-Shima, and has won multiple golds at the Annual Japan Sake Awards, Kura Master and IWC.
