清水清三郎商店於1869年鈴鹿市若松村成立，公司成立60周年改為「清水清三郎商店株式会社」。鈴鹿酒歷史悠久，自古即有「美酒鈴鹿國」之稱，鈴鹿川流域裡的神社，毎年都會舉行「味酒祭」，酒標也與有著一千年歷史的日本和服染色道具「伊勢型紙」中象徵長壽及繁榮的藤花結合而命名，而「作」之名取自於"未完成"謙虛之意。

此清酒的香氣感覺芬芳，果香非常豐富，入口後會感覺到梨、哈蜜瓜和少許蘋果的香氣在鼻腔內遊走，口感既順滑且圓潤，甜度亦十分明顯。而「中取り」則為在雅乃智的製酒過程中,將榨酒最初和最後段的液體去除，只取中段最清澈部分。
